Misdiagnosed with Bipolar 1?
How can one know when you have been misdiagnosed? I have been diagnosed with Bipolar 1, but I show almost all symptoms, traits, and patterns of Borderline Personality Disorder. I have been bouncing inbetween many therapists for the past 2 years because they all kept leaving to work for different comanies. No one gets to know me long enough to correctly diagnose me it feels like. Anyone have any advice? I feel like I am a lost cause.

I showed every symptom of borderline and was diagnosed and treated, and I was completely misdiagnosed. All of the same symptoms turned out to be schizophrenia and bipolar 1. It might take a few tries to get the right diagnoses and treatment but just give it time.
