Is Mirtazapine Effective for Depression?

For me I use it to fall asleep, but I also take lexapro because the mitrazipine is not always that effective for depression. Usually needs an add on

I take Mirtazapine to help with sleep, but I might switch to another antidepressant in the future. Just an FYI, Mirtazapine is also an appetite stimulate.

I take it more for my low appetite and bad sleep, I don't notice it has helped my depression but it's a great sleep aide!

It seems to have helped me somewhat..Dr may increase when I see her next...
