Hey y’all. Been feeling really down lately. What are some things you do to keep your mind occupied?

My mantra is "Do one thing." No matter how small and praise yourself for that accomplishment.

I go to the gym. I listen to music and walk through the park.

I listen to my favorite music, read a good book, spend time with my furbabies, talk to my husband. Sometimes just to get the feelings out I will write in my journal

I'm feeling this way too. I try to play fun games like Animal Crossing and spend time with people that love and support me.

I have a little garden 🪴. I have it in the front yard. I have everything in containers so that it’s easy to maintain and reach. I love getting my hands dirty. It’s Theraputic for me. I was going through depression due to a separation once. My therapist suggested earthing. I went Lowes and purchased Everything and made a beautiful flower bed in front of the house. Not only did it help relieve my frustration and stress but it helped bridge communication between my husband and I. He complimented me on the flower bed. He knew that I love plants and decorating but he hand never seen my actual work. He said that it looked professional. We bonded again and opened up to talked. Most of all, it was for my own sanity!!!

It's so very hard when depression doesn't go away with meds. Plus having other medical problems. Sad thing is I have found nothing that helps. 😥😥I hope you feel better soon.

It happens. I had a rough week last week. I pray and try to focus on what I’m grateful for. Also something you enjoy doing. I got some paint kits and adult coloring books lol hey whatever works 🙏

When I feel up to it, I crochet. Mostly play games on my phone though
