Migraines that worsen when sitting or laying down

Does anybody else experience migraines that become worse upon sitting or laying down? I haven’t been able to figure out what this means. Whenever I have a migraine I have to stand up the whole time.

Hmm I'm really sorry to hear that :/ maybe you can ask your doctor if it has anything to do with cerebral spinal fluid pressure? It could be entirely different but it's worth asking.

The only thing that gives me relief is immitrex. And that’s IF I don’t throw it up.

Thank you, it was one of the worst pains I've ever felt for sure. Maybe the worst honestly. Do you feel any relief when laying down? Or if you've been asleep for a couple hours?

Maybe something to do with your spinal fluid? I experienced this when my spinal fluid was leaking. I had to get a blood patch.

I don't, but I wonder if it has to do with your blood pressure? I know sitting, standing and laying can affect blood presure, and I'd assume blood pressure can also affect/possibly cause a migraine. Maybe ask your doc about that if it hasn't been already ruled out.
