Dealing with Migraines that Last for Days

how many of you have migraines that last days on end? I'm on day 5and no meds are working and my dad thinks I'm full BS and is yelling at me to get off my butt and do things. Even tho I'm light and sound sensitive right now and get lightheaded and nauseous. I don't know what to do.

Can you help? connect today

I take Ubrelvy and it’s the only med that works for my migraines. Longest I ever had was 20 days straight.

i take the ajovy autoinjector every 28days plus have replax for a resuce med but none of that has been working. Not even motrin or tylenol. My longest was 15days but that's also because my ex made me go to the ER and I hate going

I've had them last months, but my neurologist does not believe they can last that long. He thinks the key is they come and go. My migraines get severe enough that I'm also light and sound sensitive. It also does not help that I have heightened hearing. I pray you feel better soon, but if you don't, ask for a referral to see a neurologist.

Have you tried Botox? I just started my injections a couple of weeks ago, but my doctor treats a lot of people with great success! I'd also highly suggest looking for a headache specialist... that's been a game changer for me. Good luck!!

I've had botox for years. I'm months overdue (nurses' strike) and feel like trash. It's the only thing that helped me. Though Zomatriptan worked maybe 1/3 of the time and delayed migraines so I could safely get home 1/3 of the time.

no I haven't. I refused them. My doctor is pushing botox on me when he said we still have a few different meds to try. Plus my family doctor checked homocysteine levels and I'm at a 15 when I should only be between 8 and 13. My neurologist says it's fine and it has nothing to do with migraines, when my family doctor says it does.
