Migraine with aura and post-headache fatigue

I had three migraines with auras this week. Last one yesterday. But now I’m feeling so fatigued and thirsty and hungry. Like I seriously can’t seem to feel better. I am physically exhausted but don’t feel rested. Does anybody else feel like this after headache?

I swear when my migraine goes away I am starving and thirsty. The meds I take will knock me out to the point that when I wake I feel like a zombie. I am always worn out after a migraine episode

That’s called a postdrome and technically, it is a part of the migraine cycle. I call it a migraine hangover. If I’m not gentle with myself during this time, I get another migraine. I suggest planning a day of rest after a migraine. They are hard on the mind and body and you deserve a chance to recharge.
