Hello everyone, please share what do you do when you have a migraine? Some days even pills are not helping me to get rid of the pain and I don't know what to do šŸ¤•

Medication can be a good option for people so I suggest talking to your PCP about that. It's been a huge lifesaver for me. As for at home remedies I recommend anything with electrolytes paired with a bottle of water. That will hydrate you a lot faster than just drinking water. (I like Pedialyte or even eating pickles! It depends person to person and I also recommend the propel flavored electrolyte waters.) If you're someone who benefits from caffiene when you have a headache I'd also try drinking a bit of that, but try not to make it a habit if it isnt already. You prob already know that caffiene withdrawals are hell for migraine people. I also like sitting in the shower! My mom always said it helped her and personally it helps me a lot. Its simple but effective if you combine it with Tylenol or Excedrin, and everything else I mentioned here. Electrolytes, Water, Caffiene, Excedrin, Shower. I call it my Migraine killer routine. And if all else fails try super hard to sleep after that shower.

Have you talked to your primary care physician? I had to go through realms and rounds of medication but now I received Botox treatments four times a year. I only received my first one in June I'm so amped up and excited to get my next one it's September it is incredible! When I do have a migraine though I have to lock myself in my bedroom which has blackout curtains and alternate heat and cold on my head. I take no tech when my symptoms occur and sometimes that knocks it out before it gets bad.

Making sure I get enough sleep and manage my sleep. I also take Ubrevly and Tylenol when the Ubrevly isn't enough on its own.

Sometimes nothing helps in those cases would sit in a darkened room and get upset when folks would turn on the light.
