What are some things you do to help alleviate moderate migraines? Excederin usually works for me but it makes me nauseous and just is not fun to take if I can help it.

      I have heard that magnesium helps and zinc. Didn’t help me but might someone rlse

      Mine are daily, wakes me up around 3-4am. I can take a Fioricet and go back to bed for a while. That helps. I am retired so I can do that. Drug companies are an issue, don’t put that drug on their formulary for older folks. I had my first at age 13, I am 75. Big family history

      i take topamax every day for migraine prevention, then nurtec for when they start. seems to help pretty well, but when i don’t have it on me or i forgot to take the topamax it helps to find a quiet and dark place for a but

      i have to take melatonin/ another sleep aid and sleep it off. ive also found that midol helps depending on how bad it is that day!
