Need Migraine Relief ASAP!

Hi! I'm on day 3 of a migraine and nothing seems to be helping. I have so much to do. I've tried all my usual standbys, otc meds. caffeine, water, electrolytes, sleep, dark room, ice, heat. Imitrex helps me but I'm out. Does any one have any suggestions of things to try?

A bit late, but if another happens, sometimes if I’ve tried everything else and nothing helps…I try drinking a redbull. Similar concept to what @elo2022 mentioned.

I was given the Metrol dose pack to break the cycle

When I had a concussion migraine my doctors recommended trying Mountain Dew or popsicles. It has something to do with the dilation of blood vessels in the brain

I do not leave my house without Dramamine! Actually you can by the generic motion sickness pills for a fraction of the cost just make sure it’s the same ingredient! It really is a game changer, it has saved my life!

Anything with menthol in it used to help me when I was younger. Peppermint, eucalyptus stuff like that

Did you try taking some Benadryl. If that doesn’t work I normally would end up going to the hospital for what the drs/nurses call a migraine cocktail

Hot bath with Epsom salts, possibly.

Acupuncture saves my life with migraines. Might be worth checking out. Sorry you are dealing with this.
