Looking for Advice on Migraine Prevention Medication

What prevention migraine medication do you guys use? Are there any side effects?

I use trokendi xr, I find this to be the best medicine for prevention I've taken. I've also tried ubrevly for a abortive, and it's awesome. However, insurances can be asshats on covering these if you haven't tried much before. Make sure you talk to your Dr and see if they know what your insurance will cover

I use magnesium oxide but it was prescribed by my doctor. I don't k it if you can find some one or in store

I bought magnesium glycinate on Amazon. I guess it’s similar?

I take Ubrelvy and I also give myself the Emgality injections. They work great!

I take Magnesium as well. I think it would work better if I could take it more frequently or a higher dose, but it works on me like a laxative as well. This is not good for me because of partial paralysis and mobility issues.
