thank you so much! I appreciate the insight. I haven't heard most of those names before. It's a lot of trial and error for me. My insurance wants me to try one (cheaper) med before they will approve what my doctor wants me on. Giving it a shot 🤞

that’s exactly how my neurologist was. It sucks that it is trial and error or even trial and success but you still have to stop a med. My insurance just stopped covering my ubrelvy which is about $1200 for 10 pills aka I have what I have of my ubrelvy and that’s it. Hopefully you will find something that works out and helps your migraines

Ubrelvy paired with a muscle relaxer is my go to med cocktail that helps my migraines- I will sometimes add in a liquid iv or a Gatorade. I was in emgality (monthly shot) which helped but caused my anxiety to increase to where the hurt was worse than the help it gave (as someone with severe anxiety- giving myself a monthly shot made my anxiety sky rocket to the point where I would be on the floor in tears just trying to get myself to administer the shot) I’m also on gabapentin that has helped. I was on topomax too but that made me loose so much weight in such a short period of time that it wasn’t possible for me to be able to stay on it which sucked because I felt that one helped a ton
