That makes sense. I was on metoprolol before I was switched to Midodrine. My blood pressure is normally low to begin with. After a short hospital stay of a couple days, I was able to come home, have dinner. When I went to pull my pants up after going to the bathroom, my blood pressure dropped way too low and I like passed out and fell between the toilet and the bathtub. My mom called the paramedics and back to the hospital I went. Midodrine seems to keep my blood pressure regulated much better. I do hope your symptoms improve.❤️

What dose works well for you? So far I’ve taken 12.5mg and it has only increased my blood pressure slightly.

I take it 3 times a day…it helps, but sometimes my BP still dips pretty low. Even on it 3 times a day my BP is usually 90s/45ish on a good day. I also have several other medical issues too though.
