Mentally Dealing with Physical Pain

How do you deal with pain mentally? I know the pain obviously is physical but for me its also so mentally draining and i don’t know how to deal with that.

I go to therapy which helps a lot. I went from casually suicidal about my condition to carrying a positive mental attitude. Just having someone there that can say "dang that sucks" while you rant does help more than you'd think, as it makes you feel less alone. I have days where my brain is like "meh. I'm used to it." Then boosts to "THIS IS TO PAINFUL TO LIVE THROUGH HOW DO I DO THIS DAILY" It's draining, but remember to take it one day at a time. Rest when you need to. Don't push yourself and make it worse. Your pain is valid.

Chronic pain is draining in every possible way. Find things that make you feel relaxed or bring you joy. Let yourself rest- force yourself to rest. Work on setting boundaries. Find someone (a therapist or the like) who you can just vent to about the shii you live with. They may not get it but a good therapist will always listen and validate what you are going through
