I have mental fatigue ("brain fog") as well as physical fatigue. My limbs feel heavy and every movement feels like trying to wade through wet cement. I get muscle spasms and my hands will shake. Does that happen to anyone else?

@MissLucy_101719 I hate when my hands stop working. I have dropped so many things. But dropping a whole stack of plates and blacking out helped me finally get a diagnosis.

Yup sometimes my hands randomly stop working. I sleep 14+ hours and am still fatigued beyond belief
Yes! I feel like the mental fatigue isn’t as talked about as the physical but yes, absolutely! There are times where the fatigue hits me so suddenly that it takes so much effort to finish a sentence in a conversation, or focus my eyes or turn my head to divert my attention. It’s honestly really scary when it happens because it’s both mental and physical exhaustion that seem to come out of nowhere.
Yes to all of the above! I just blame it on POTS and fibro and hope it’s not anything more serious….I did find low cortisol levels though and felt a lot better after fixing that.
All the time. I drop stuff and can't lift things. And brain fog is no joke. I hate it. I use the wrong words or I literally can't speak because I can't remember the words I need to use.

@Red914 Yes! It is like mental dyslexia. I forget words. I forget how to say words. I jumble my words. I will mix up words when trying to read. I will forget what I'm saying and my train of thought mid sentence. I will walk into a room or walk across the room and instantly forget where I was going and why. Recently, I intoduced an acquaintance as "Joseph" knowing full well his name is Justin. My brain just doesn't work sometimes. It was so embarrassing.
@CoffeeAndDogs I feel you. I hate when it happens at work. My husband understands so he just lovingly teases me about it. But at work, it's embarrassing. Luckily I explained it to my coworkers and they are getting used to me saying strange things sometimes.
