Experience at a Mental Hospital

4 times in the psych ward, nothing super crazy, there was another schizophrenic girl and wr bonded heavily over it. nobody else understood. once i had a tic attack, which used to happen often before i got on meds for my tourettes, the kids where laughing with me and everything and one of the staff raised their voice at me, telling me to go to my room until i calmed down. there was a gay 13 year old who wanted attention so bad that he copied me when i punched wall, fracturing my knuckle, he would knock on the wall loudly like he punched it, and would misgender me all the time and when i noticed it was on purpose, was having a bad day, he midgendered me and i fuckin chased that little bitch down wanting to knock the living shit out of him. my experiences in rehab are a lot worse and crazier. my psych ward experiences are mostly annoying. there are a few more but im too lazy to type em out lmao

I’ve been a lot, some good some bad. It really depends on how the staff treat you and if they are respectable. I’ve come out of psychiatric wards either healed or traumatized depending on the staff and how the unit is run.

All I remember is how sick I was and how cold my feet were. I was so happy when they took me to the hospital and got diagnosed with influenza. They gave me warm socks
