Remember it takes time to fins the right meds. Im still working on something for anxiety but I finally found meds after trying since 2013. Sometimes people go Ned free but jts hard.

I mean it really does vary but I personally ride my mental health medication free. Simply cuz the meds they had me on never worked and they have switched them up so many times that after awhile of it not working I just got sick of them not working and just sick of them never doing anything for me and doing the exact opposite of helping me making it worse. 6 months of trying all of them in the times they were prescribed for me until the 6 month mark when the doctor would check in on them and the last time I lost my insurance for awhile and then lost my therapy and psychiatrist and hadn’t gone back sense never helped me at all talk therapy didn’t work I need dbt and my insurance doesn’t cover it so I kinda just ride my mental health on it’s own. I’ve actually improved more on my own than with a therapist or psychiatrist. Spirituality has brought me a long way tho I am wiccan as well.

If its minor and doesnt require medication you can always find a therapist or someone you can talk to
