Dealing with the aftermath of mental health treatment

i just got out of the hospital after my sister took me to get mental health treatment. im glad i went and it helped A TON. however, now everyone in my life is walking on eggshells around me (which makes me feel even more isolated). has anybody else experienced this and how did you address it?

for a long time after a lot of my friends dropped me i convinced myself i just wasn't good at being a friend and that with bpd i would never form meaningful relationships that truly last please dont give up on yourself you're already doing so good because you're actually getting treatment you are self aware of the fact people are still weary around you this is genuinely improvement be proud of yourself
