New to the App and Looking for Support with Mental Health
Hi everyone! I’m new to this; I just got this app minutes ago, and I want to talk with people who may be experiencing the same symptoms as I am. I had severe OCD as a little kid and still suffer from it, although definitely not as bad as I used to, and also still struggle regularly with anxiety and depression. I have been thinking for a while that I might have Bipolar 2 disorder; I meet the criteria for it and have brought it up to multiple therapists, although none have taken me seriously about it. My boyfriend also recently pointed out that he thought that I might have it. Anyways, I’m looking forward to talking with people similar to me on here!

Hey! I just joined minutes ago too after seeing an ad on Facebook! I suffer from general depression/anxiety as well and also have had OCD undiagnosed as a child. I exhibited symptoms like doing a cartwheel on the same board in the kitchen every time I'd walk past it or making my arms into windshield wipers and "washing" the germs off my invisible windshield, counting the amount of times for each arm. So nobody could even recognize it was OCD in my family or seek to treat it before adolescence. Now it "flares" up but I do believe my antidepressant, Sertraline, works for me. My symptoms worsen with stress!
