After my experience with depression through a loss of a friend a few months ago, my heart breaks easier for those who are struggling. I promise you that it does get better the moment you say something and seek help. It is an incredibly hard fight that beats you down, but I promise you that it gets easier then better.

For sure. If you asked sophomore me if I could see myself going any further than senior year I would say no. But here I am 20 years old and 2 years in college.

Absolutely!! And then sometimes you start to swing down a little, but you know how to work through it and get yourself back up quickly again :)

Yes. Don’t give up, you’re in the thick of it rn. And even if it seems it’s only getting worse, your future self will thank you for sticking through. I’ve also journeyed through my own hell, but I came back and I know you can too - if you can’t believe in yourself, believe in the me that believes in you

very well said! i also want to add that healing isn’t linear — there are going to be ups and downs, that’s totally normal. but healing IS possible. it just takes time and an abundance of patience. but you got this!!! if you ever need to talk, feel free to reach out. sending all my love and support <3
