Admitting I Need Help: My Mental Health Struggles

I just had a full on breakdown in front of some of my extended family and ended up sobbing to my mom and aunt and admitting that my psychiatrist recommended I look at out or even in-patient help bc I am so depressed. it feel embarrassing. the logical part of my brain knows this could help me but the idea of going to the hospital my mental health makes me feel like a failure and more of a financial and emotional burden for my mom. I just don’t see much success for myself and it hurts. I would like to just not be so sad.

I've been an inpatient. It's not that bad. Some hospitals work , some dont . I recommend asking around peers or extended peers in your area/state . what hospital they recommend.
