Personally, my crohns presented age 13 and it was so severe I was told to say my goodbyes dozens of times that year. Today (10 years later) my levels are the best they've ever been- I'm not even on disease managing medications but am the closest to remission I've ever been. I still have daily symptoms but nothing compared to where I used to be

It definitely can, but every case is different. Many variables affect your... We just have to try our best to avoid triggers & work with a GI to control inflammation levels. There are people who have started at severe crohns & healed to the point of having zero symptoms, so don't give up hope 💕
