Any other mentally ill smarties that chose to study psych/social work? I have been struggling with my mental health my whole life, and when I found psychology as a teenager I remember feeling so seen. I decided to get my bachelor's in psych and I'm graduating in December. I'm trying to decide what I want to do next, and recently I've been leaning toward clinical social work. It doesn't pay great and would probably be pretty stressful but i don't think I will be satisfied unless I'm helping people (which is why I gave up on research). I also want to teach. Any advice on dealing with stressful jobs as a manic-leaning bipolar person? or perhaps other job recs? I considered clinical psych but it's basically the same field but takes longer to get the degree so idk I'm patient lol
