Menstrual Symptoms: Anyone Else Experiencing This?

Periods ruin a lot of things including progress with chronic conditions lol. My adhd, anxiety, pain, arthritis and ocd all get worse while I’m on my cycle.

Absolutely happens to me! I usually get in such a dark space then a few days later when my period comes it all makes sense. I’d think I’d be prepared every month for this as I’m in my 40’s but somehow I seem to still get so depressed and have suicidal thoughts and don’t put 2 & 2 together.

Perhaps, ask for a hormone test. I use Mirena IUD and it seems to be helpful since I don't get periods with it. But, I'm also 45 and have 3 kids and had my last at 29.

I’ve actually been diagnosed as pmdd, so you may want to bring it up to your doctor next time you see them

Periods make all kinds of things go crazy, it's wild. You're totally not the only one, hormones affect so much of the body they can totally affect all kinds of symptoms
