Frustration with Medical Community's Understanding of Menstrual Cycles and ADHD

Anyone else feel really frustrated about how little the medical community understands about people with menstrual cycles in general, but especially the ways it affects ADHD?

Now I’m curious. What are the connections between the two?

And the way ADHD affects menstrual cycles! I’ll even share medical journals (the few available) about it with my doctors and they just dismiss it.

lol I hate it when people are like "oh you have strong emotions? Must be bipolar!!" Like no ADHD also causes strong emotions 😂 plus it's just another way to invalidate women's emotions imo like "you're not upset because I did something wrong, you're upset because you have a mental disorder/your period" 😤

Absolutely! I don't have an ADHD diagnosis (but I'm almost certian I have it)
