I take flecainide, bisoprolol and eliquis. My heart has been perfect since starting flecainide. No afib, not even as much as a skip.

Flecainide. It was difficult to find the right dose. Doc gave me way too much, and it caused me weird visual disturbances. He had me on 150 MG twice a day, I am now on 75mg twice a day. 50 mg twice a day will usually keep me from AFib attacks, but I take the 75 as prescribed. Metroprolol 25mg twice day to keep my heart rate lower which is most helpful during an AFib attack. I recently read that damage is done during AFib attacks when heart rate is too fast. Good luck to you.

The only "damage" that I know of, is an enlarged heart,Congestive Heart Failure(CHF),which is treatable.

do you have to stay on flecainide forever or can you come off of it. What made you decide on that medicine and not Eliquis or Xarelto?
