I started this medicine about a month ago, to help me sleep a full night after years of pain getting more severe and keeping me up all night. on it, I can finally sleep at night, but now I'm super drowsy all day/have trouble waking up. either way, I'm really tired all the time

I've been taking Amitriptyline since October 2021, and I have not yet noticed any day-time drowsiness. I do take prednisone (which keeps you up), but maybe you are taking too high of a dosage, or maybe you are experiencing severe fatigue due to your pain. You should ask your doctor about it and maybe they can make adjustments. Hope this helps! 🤍
