I've been on Lisdexamfetamine (Elvanse/Vyvanse) for about 6 months now. Been wiggling around trying to find a dose that works for me as I was noticing decreased efficacy around my period. Other than that it has helped me a lot, mainly with getting out of bed in the morning, and with my emotional regulation. The medication can cause me to hyperfocus on unhelpful tasks so I have to be careful to direct my energy in the right place. I feel like I am more tidy as if I see a mess I'm more likely to clean it up rather than ignore it. It's like I SEE the mess more if that makes sense. Still struggle a bit with distraction but generally I just feel I have more spoons in the day to do household tasks rather than using all my mental energy at work. Still not sure if my dose is right but I've changed it so much at this point, I'm ready to finish titration and be on a stable dose and start putting my life back together

I also lost all my COVID lockdown weight as I don't do as many things that I used to do for quick dopamine (like snacking and, uh, you know) and I'm more likely to go exercise if I want to!
