Need advice on medication for OCD and GAD

Hi guys so I know it says 18+ but I'm only 16 and I got diagnosed with OCD and GAD in 2019, I'm seeing a therapist but I still feel the same as I did when I first got diagnosed, I am angry constantly and I feel like I should start looking for certain medication to help me out, and then speak to my parents about it. If anyone is able to help or give medication recommendations that'd be great!

Well I think cymbalta can be used for ocd but I would also look into techniques to help. Like distraction, breathing techniques, essential oils help, ocd work book, chamomile tea helps, meditation. Also an off label use benadryl helps anxiety.

Everyone responds differently to medications. It's best to see a doctor and let them decide. Don't put it aside because of Covid. Your family doctor or pediatrician can help get you started if you can't see a specialist yet. Remember, there are virtual doctor's appointments available. I have yet to see my new Psychiatrist in person yet. So far, all visits have been virtual. Talk to your parents and get some help. You don't need to be suffering. Remember, it can take weeks/months for the medications to work fully, so the sooner you reach out, the better. Good luck!

I take it for seizures not depression but I've been on a benzodiazepine for over 5 months now.

I know a I need a psychiatrist, but I just haven't been able to go see anyone because the covid cases are higher here now and makes it difficult, I'm just trying to see if there is anything medication/vitamin/ect related that can help me bring up to my doctor. Thanks
