Does anyone on guanficene suffer from a lack of libido and "finishing"? I'm trying to figure out which of my meds is causing this.

I’m on guanfacine er and adderall xr and have no problems with that. Although it can be a side effect from either of them even if it is somewhat rare

I'm not on that medication, but I am on two antidepressants and Adderall. I used to be pretty libidinous, but now I'm completely apathetic towards sex. Due to cPTSD I've always had trouble finishing but now it doesn't seem worth the effort half the time. It only bothers me because I feel like I'm neglecting my SO because of the meds.

Yep. But also I'm on like 2 other meds that cause sexual dysfunction so.. ADHD meds in particular tend to all cause that though so it's fairly normal.

One user mentioned that guanfacine can cause lethargy, but there is no direct mention of it causing a lack of libido or difficulty in "finishing" in the provided context. It's important to consult with your doctor about potential side effects and interactions between medications.
