I'm not sure if it's a Michigan thing or a U.S thing but was there ever a time where you kept telling the doctors that something was wrong but they kept saying that you were okay only to find out it was something serious? How Long did you have to wait until "you were right"?

4 years of people (and doctors) telling me I was fine while I was in the most pain of my life. Turns out I had Fibromyalgia.

In between my spinal surgery I told my surgeons that I wasn’t feeling that great and that I felt something was wrong and it turned out I was right and the last appointment they said my spinal cord was being crushed my tumors and I was scheduled for surgery 3 days later so yes I think it’s the doctors. It was a few appointments before they did another MRI and saw my spine.

Yes, I was just diagnosed after telling my primary care Dr. that I thought I had MS. She told me she thought it was a B-12 deficiency and when that came back totally fine she was like "idk you must be fine." 🤷🏽‍♀️ i talked her into referring me to a neurologist finally and 9 months after the 1st time I saw her, turns out I was right 🙃 I know she's not a specialist but dang at least believe me...

@Beans617 oh wow. It's so frustrating when doctors don't listen
