Is there a specialist I should see for this condition? Is there anything that has helped?

@julierichman I feel like when you hit a time where you cannot deal anymore that you will be much more willing to try biologics. Humira didn't help me, Enbrel did. Taltz has some but none help all the way yet. It isn't for everyone but after a decade or two? You will te ly just about anything.

What can a Dermatologist do other than diagnose me? My OBGYN has diagnosed it. I’ve had it for over a decade. But I don’t know what to do about it progressing and getting worse! I’m getting them under my breasts now and they’ve tunneled in my underarms and underneath my tummy pooch! It hurts so bad 😥

@BexFM they help with flares a ton. I used to have to go to the ER or UC when I would have one that was out of control... And it always hurt so bad when they would lance it. My derm does it quick in office with a ton less pain. My rheumatologist handles my biologic which also seem to help a bunch. Unfortunately... It seems like everything gets thrown at it and very little helps.

@BexFM I was on minocycline for two years and the gel. I’m in the process of being approved for Humira. It’s basically thanksgiving option. She always tells me that loosing weight can help but I honestly don’t know how. I have them under my arms, on top of the vag and under belly pooch also.

I use clindamycine gel ! Only a little!!! with it covered for the first 3 days. Then just the gel and I let it breath. By the 5th day it is gone or has started to come out.

I always wash with yellow dial soap. I have a few that just won’t go away. Looking at Humira currently. Have tried minocycline and clindomyocine lotion. They did not work. They really suck.

You should see a skin dr. A dermatologist.
