Massage Therapy for Fibromyalgia: Does it Work?

Has anyone tried massage therapy for fibromyalgia? I’m looking into it but I also have a hard time with touch causing pain and I don’t wanna accidentally trigger it.

I go every 6-8 weeks to a chiropractor/sports therapist who specializes in ultrasound massages/therapy. It’s changed my life and is the only thing that helps me. If you can find a provider, I absolutely recommend trying it out! ❤️

I relate a lot to touch or even physical sensation triggering pain. I want to try message therapy too. I do it myself for places I can reach and I also think applying ice and heat (depending) can help some of the muscles that hurt really bad
