Personally, I know I’m manic when I start to agree to every new idea someone throws out to me, such as moving to a new state and starting anew, even though it isn’t feasible. I get anxious and irritable very easily, but I’m also incredibly goofy and bubbly. I spend all my savings

My meds keep it in control now but as BP1, on the way up I’d feel elated and happy, then very special, then invincible, then I’d have rapid and slurred speech, cognitive issues, strange behavior (if people asked if I were on drugs I knew it was about crash time) then I’d have minor auditory hallucinations and paranoia need to shut out from the world to get back on track for a min.
I get hypomanic. But I know I am hypomanic when I get very goofy. I don’t eat or sleep very much. I have lots of energy to exercise and talk to all my friends. I am also irritable and get frustrated. It feels like having 10 cups of coffee. I also get anxious.
I spend wayyy to much. When I get psychotic which I haven’t done in many years, it’s been like I’m dreaming or locked in a movie in my mind where things have different meanings. It was terrifying the first time it happened but now I’m not scared of being psychotic. My meds have really helped stabilize me.
I get really bubbly and hyper. I also start acting childish to
For me it starts off feeling like it's just a really good day. But it keeps going all day and into the evenings. Lots of Energy it's the biggest one for me. Plus I get super irritable.
