Have you ever had a manic episode without destructive impulsive behaviors? Or where you've been able to restrain yourself some and soften the blow?

@Ahndrayuh I love that! Those kinds of episodes are the best... I love getting enthralled by a project!

Yep! Songwriting and journaling helps and turns the mania into a super productive time creatively :)

I have actually! Once I've noticed I'm manic I do some meditation and it calms me down enough to lower my impulsiveness and to take an extra moment to think. Also staying with someone willing to keep you accountable and who doesn't encourage the behaviors (as annoying as they seem at the time) is a huge help to keep it to relatively reasonable levels.
