Managing Work During Period Week

What are your crisis plans during your period week? I’ve had to take four days off of my birth control to try and stop this breakthrough bleeding. But the emotional rollercoaster feels like too much and I’m already in burnout. Any ideas for how to manage and make it through work or just getting through daily tasks would be welcome.

The only way I have stopped the extreme roller coaster is getting off the pill and taking CBD drops as well as a tincture called Elix. I am finally not terrified of my period again. I also have found intolerances to red meat, soy, gluten dairy, corn, alcohol and caffeine. I can't tell you how much relief I feel now, it's been 10 years of worse and worse pain and mental hurt and I finally can say I have a handle on it.

I hardly can find the sokutions for this myself. I usually try my best to focus on the busy-ness of workand not so much on my personal stuff i may be going thru. This is also paired fairly strong symptoms with my bipolar disorder as well

I always tell my husband and my mom when it's coming so they can support me. I try to be extra gentle with myself. I do just the basic work and chores that I have to and let the rest wait til I feel better. I let myself watch TV and drink tea and eat convenience food and rest. I also try to remind myself not to take my own thoughts too seriously for a few days, because I get intrusive thoughts due to PMDD. If something is really bothering me i talk to someone about it, but tell myself to revisit it in a few days when I feel more level.
