Managing Type 2 Diabetes: Struggling with Carb Intake

Just got diagnosed with t2d yesterday my blood sugars were a 119 and my a1c was a 6.6 what is the average amount of sugar to eat in a day I have been eating around 50/60 and trying to eat low carb it’s so hard everything has carbs in it !

Wow girl you have excellent numbers. I’m on a diet with all vegetables and white meat only. But you can also eat some other stuff you like but not as much as you want. My A1C was 11.9 and last week go down to 9.1 my doctor was so happy but my sugar still fluctuate from 350 to 220 only have it low as 160 on morning. So take care and always follow what the doctor said.. And you will be fine. And also I’m on 2 different diabetic insulins and I injected 5 times a day. And have 2 different pills for it. So just keep going with those numbers and you will be fine

Hi, any suggestions for a good diet that is not so restraining, I don't like and I'm not good at diets.
