Triggers can be sex, u got to have a patient partner some positions hurt especially if ur having an episode Of pelvic pressure and inflammation I'm a mother of 2 daughters and I'm on setlakin birth control so I have a period every 3 months I deal with pcs on a regular basis I don't have too be on my period too deal with it its just worse then but when I'm swollen I look like I could be expecting and wearing clothes just hurt But I have developed new symptom I got diagnosed in 2015 shooting pains down my legs too the point I can't walk n hip pain ontop of the constant lumbar back pain I deal with PCS symptoms on a regular basis and I'm 33 I shouldn't have to be doubled over in pain for just taking a long walk or doing a family outing for ex. I can't stand for long periods of time. The veins will POP out of my left foot (sometimes both my feet) and will turn purple

From what I understand estrogen makes it worse so depending on where you are in your cycle will effect it. It’s so hard to find definitive info though so who knows lol

I find mine to be the worst before and after my period. It was definitely worse though before I started birth control.

From what I know, hormonal changes can be a trigger, so sometimes going on pills can help, maybe ask your doctor about it.
