I recently realized that self care is a radical act of self love in defiance of our capitalist society, so I’ve been trying to internalize that and funnel my anger into a great self care routine, basically to say “fuck you, I am getting better” lol
My nails are wrecked right now, but when I get a manicure I tend to ignore them. If I do my makeup I don’t touch my face, so that helps, but ignoring blemishes on my legs and arms is nearly impossible
