Managing Nausea on Hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil)

Any tips for managing nausea while on hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil)? I was just diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis last week, and that's what I was prescribed, but I can't take ondansetron (Zofran) while on it because of potential interactions. I have IBS and other stomach issues and usually have to take Zofran about once a week or so. I'm going to ask my GI about alternatives but wanted to see if anyone else has run into this

I was on hydroxychloroquine. Every few months I had to have an eye exam. My body rejects it and now I am on something else. It is used to calm down one immune system

You need to get your eye exam because it can affect your vision. Plus it lowers your immune system therefore be careful and always see your doctor.

I've never had issues with plaquenil but I've had nausea with a lot of my other tablets and I was given Lanzaprazole, it's to protect your stomach from any other tablets you take
