      The hug was the first symptom of my MS. since day one, constantly. Flexeril (Cyclobenzaprine) is prescribed but for what it's worth it really doesn't help. I stretch, and for a short period it's bearable but I think it's here to stay. Hard to deep breathe when a dump truck is parked on your ribs!

      I have them every now and then and the only thing that’s ever helped is diazepam but talk to your doctor, they may have other ideas. Hope this helps ❤️

      Wish I had advice! I had the MS hug for a while and then eventually it went away. But I’m not sure why - I was doing somatic (emotional) release work and kept bumping up against it. It was just there. And then not one day…

      I forgot about it. Just realized I don’t have it anymore. They were terrible. Do not know why it is gone. But glad it is
