I know everyone says it and many try yoga and meditation/self-care, and it may not work, but do not give up. It took me getting to a certain point in my life. Incorporating gentle yoga, essential oils, meditation (and listening to ALOT of binaural beats and healing megahertz playing every night while I sleep) it as I was slowly weened off of multiple meds.

@MinouBallerine yes I agree 100% with you. I listen to white noise music every night. It helps so much. Relax your body Mind and soul.

Slowly but surely building coping mechanisms that benefit my mental health. Going to the gym, meditating, self care evenings all help me day to day 😊
See I do the same but I’m not on any medication anytime I take medications I don’t want to do anything I feel like it m a zombie.
@Angel1982 it took me a while to find the right medication, been on 3 different antidepressants and all of them made me feel numb, if you’re doctor really listens to your concerns i bet they could try something else:)
taking it one day at a time, not creating unrealistic long term goals helps me, getting out of bed and making my bed makes me feel accomplished and i get to start my day on a good note with myself:) my medications help too but i feel like it’s both, doing good stuff and taking your meds:)
