How do you manage to keep MCAS friendly food available while having ADHD? I am currently attempting low histamine to manage MCAS and my Instant Pot is a lifesaver — but the executive function of cooking has always been a challenge and I am running out of food ideas (I eat chicken and rice most of the time and with ADHD sensory issues I’m trying not to totally burn out 😅). Has anybody else struggled with this?

One suggestion is to use an air fryer or a slow cooker for meal preparation. Meal planning and having a safe backup can also be helpful. Some people get meals delivered from a meal delivery service where most of the selecting ingredients and recipe planning is done. For a low histamine diet, making chicken soup in an instant pot with loads of veggies is a staple for some. Brands like Siete for grain free alternatives, and Jovial cassava pasta are recommended. It's also suggested to make sure all meals are 75% vegetables.
