i started by going to a cardiologist who basically told me i just have tachycardia and to not worry about it, then a year later my symptoms we're getting worse so i got a referral to mayo hospital, had to wait almost a year to get in, they did a bunch of tests and diagnosed me with autonomic dysfunction but said there was nothing they could do and to just eat a lot of salt and water🥲 now in 2 months i am seeing another specialist who specializes in autonomic dysfunction who will hopefully be able to give me more things i can do to feel a little better!

The best I’ve ever felt after my diagnosis was when my cardiologist had me on weekly IV treatments. It was just saline mixed with vitamins and electrolytes, but that in addition to drinking more than 100 oz of water a day really helped. I tried this treatment over the summer of 2019, and since summer is the hardest time of the year for me because of the heat (I live in southeast Texas so summers are brutal) the difference it made was amazing. I had to discontinue the treatment because of insurance, but if you can get insurance to help it definitely worth a shot.

I saw a cardiologist to help with mine. They pretty much just told me to drink water, they didn’t do anything about it
