the biggest thing to know is that SOCIETAL EXPECTATIONS DO NOT MATTER. i had so much trouble with putting my laundry away — things got so much easier when i stopped trying to fold everything and just got a bunch of bins to sort clean clothes into!! do what you can, and do your best to help the others around you understand that you ARE doing what you can

Set smaller, need based goals. For example, if you need to do your laundry, your goal should be to complete 1 load so you have clean clothes to wear for the week.

I guess it all comes down to how you heal on a personal level. Sometimes people need therapy to heal, sometimes people need medication and therapy, I guess it all depends. I know working on cognitive behavior and being mindful has helped me a lot. Also looking in to coping skills, and figuring out how to apply those things to certain situations has been super helpful as well!
