@DebG About 12 years ago, a fibromyalgia specialist told me to eat only organic foods. He said that people with fibromyalgia are very sensitive to chemicals and additives in food. I've done better pain wise since going organic.

@Netty all I drink is water and green tea. Mostly water. I stopped eating bread months ago to help me loose weight.. I am highly sensitive to most medications

What meds are you taking? I found that Gabapentin (Neurontin) and Duloxetine (Cymbalta) worked well for me. I was also taking hydrocodone for pain but became allergic to it.

@LadyPasta1 right now only Norco 5 mg. Gabapentin makes me break out and Cymbalta makes me very sick. Drs say I am highly sensitive to most medications and don't know what to give me

@DebG Been there. I'm allergic to about 20 meds. Another option might be Lyrica which is similar to Gabapentin. Savella or Celexa are possibilities in place of Cymbalta. They also block pain perception. Norco is a hydrocodone. Also can try over the counter dose of naproxen sodium and acetaminophen (Aleve and Tylenol). I can't take hydrocodone so I take one Aleve with 2 regular Tylenol twice daily for pain. Don't exceed the over the counter dose though. Aleve can effect kidneys and Tylenol van effect liver if taken in higher doses on regular basis.
