Managing Chronic Pain at Work: Seeking Advice on Disability

How do you guys handle working when in chronic pain or having flare ups. With my condition, once I get the official diagnosis (Dr says I have it just waiting on blood work to 100% confirm) I may qualify for disability. Are any of you on disability? Can someone explain to me what it entails?

I worked for years until I literally couldn’t anymore. Documentation of your symptoms and treatments are critical to qualify for disability. Also the judge asks for letters from family and friends that document how the illness has changed you. Good luck with all of it. Don’t give up. Disability is denied 95% on first attempt. Always appeal.

yes please appeal if you’re denied the first time, or even after that. They make it so hard, they purposely make you put up a fight but keep trying !
