Managing Chronic Pain and Academic Challenges

i've been having a really hard time academically this semester, because of my chronic pain mostly. i've dropped all of my classes but one and i've realized a full schedule or the lowest amount of hours i can do to be considered a full time student just doesn't work for me and what my body is dealing with rn. next semester i'm planning on taking one (maybe two if the pain center i'm going to during winter break helps) and work a couple days a week and just taking it slow next semester and maybe the next couple semesters until i feel well enough to do a full schedule again, which isn't guaranteed, i might feel worse later but ik rn this is what i need to do. i'll keep you updated, hopefully this helps me manage my pain and be able to take breaks when i need them without having to drop tons of classes and waste money.

That's a really good idea. I completely feel you with that kind of stuff😭 definitely take it easy on yourself. Life isn't something to rush. Don't ever feel bad for knowing your own limits. Don't worry about the future. For now just focus on this semester and the next. One step at a time. But yeah it's definitely not easy, especially working too might be hard. I commend you for continuing to try! You can do this!! 😎🥳

Thanks!! You too! it's so hard to tell urself i need a break/i deserve a break. Not being able to do as much as you want to because ur body is actively fighting you the whole time is so frustrating :/
