I take Ceylon cinnamon. Talk to your doc first, but it's usually safe. I stay away from sugar and eat low carb. I also eat grapefruit every night. It keeps me off medication.

I use a dexcom and it has been useful and helpful. I watch what I eat. Going to a dietary person can also help with foods and learn what's a carbohydrate and what's not. But the blood pressure just watch your intake on Pork, ham, processed cans, and meats. Something I have found helpful is when you buy can vegetables, I wash all the vegetables that are in cans cause there is so much salt and additional stuff to preserve the food. Seasoning and salt it to your liking or no salt at add.
