Managing Attention Needs When Disabled and Lonely

How do you manage your need for attention? I'm disabled, so I don't get out much. Between that and borderline personality disorder, I'm lonely. A lot.

I like to give myself the attention I need. Dress myself up, even if I'm not going out, just make myself feel pretty, and then do a nice self care routine like skin care and/or hair masks.

I feel even if it is hard it's good to reach out to friends, family, heck even strangers when you're feeling extra lonely, sometimes it feels like it'll never be enough but truly it can be if you just give things a chance, it's hard to be optimistic and you might just have to force yourself to be happy even if you're truly not, lying to make yourself feel better isn't a bad thing

my biggest struggle are business hours. I like messaging with my social circle, but they (rightfully) have lives outside of me. So most of the daytime hours, I'm left alone. And lately my hobbies aren't enough to fill that hole.
