Somethings that help me are listening to music, dancing, my weighted blanket, petting my cat or doing something creative as long as there is no deadline. Some times sitting in nature helps also. It's good to have a few go to things so if one isn't available you have options. Rewatching a favorite movie or tv show, deep breathing exercises, video games....smelling a favorite scent can help. Like BonBon said basically something that districts you and allows you to shift.

If you can afford professional massages...they are wonderful. You can also Google self massage and learn to massage certain parts of your hands, ears, and feet.

Personally I find having a fun hobby helps! For example, mine is drawing. Sometimes if I need to get out my feelings I draw something to help. It helps distract you and you get to do something you enjoy. Video games is another one of my outlets as well. Just think of stuff like that!

@BonBonthecoolkid thank you I will definitely try drawing more. I use to do it all the time but I just stopped bc I get bored fast.
